How to use warehouses in Transport Fever 3
Open the Construction menu and place a warehouse inside the catchment circle of a cargo station, dock or industry — Universal holds any cargo; Liquid, Bulk, Flatbed and Goods warehouses are specialised. Run lines to that station and cargo unloaded there goes into the warehouse automatically. Use them as transfer points (for example big trains bring grain to one warehouse, small trucks deliver it on); stored goods also stop the delivery-time penalty. Do not drop one in a city centre expecting towns to pull from it — cities only take cargo delivered straight to their demand zones.
